Group tours of the Museum’s permanent collection are offered for organizations, clubs, businesses, church groups, social groups, and more. Just sit back, relax, and let us take care of your group’s visit to the Museum.
Visit the Museum with personal attention from our folk art expert will guide your group through the Museum answering questions about Miss Alice, her work and sharing insights along the way.
24-hour notice is appreciated. Plan 1 hour for Museum visit.
A creative, vibrant senior artist, Miss Alice and her artwork provide special interest for seasoned audiences. We’ll partner with you to create a program that has the group actively engaged with the Collection, sharing ideas, and relating what they view to their own lives and experiences.
Discover how the folk art transforms and impacts our culture and history through interactive, engaging tours that test students’ observation skills, critical thinking, and expression of personal ideas. The Museum requires one adult chaperone per 10 students. Groups of very young and/or special needs children must provide a smaller student-to-chaperone ratio. Available to groups of elementary, middle, high school and college students Tuesdays through Fridays.
For school tours, we appreciate two-week notice to confer with the teacher on making it the best educational opportunity possible for students.
