Visit The Blue House

When Miss Alice first laid eyes on 214 Bookter Street, it was love at first sight. She walked toward the front of the house and sat quietly on the top step of the porch for a few minutes. Within five minutes, she wrote the check for her down payment.

Over 125 years old, the Blue House is possesses walls of beaded board and golden’ heart of pine floors and The house is built in the shotgun style, the most popular style of house in the Southern United States from the end of the American Civil War (1861–65), through the 1920s.

We invite you to sit a spell on Miss Alice’s front porch where there’s almost always a gentle salty breeze blowing.
