IN BAY SAINT LOUIS,ANGELS WORK AROUND THE CLOCK- I just love the big ole flowers flopped down right in front of  children playing and everyone having a good time on a warm sunny day in May.  Bay Saint Louis was always a very happy place for Alice Moseley and I am going to use this print to thank some of my mom's angelic supporters from those first days in the Bay. Jerry Dixon was so warm and friendly and,on a one day visit in 1979, Alice Moseley came to love both Jerry  and Bay Saint Louis. Soon after moving here she met Barry and Betsy Pincus. Barry knew  a lot about art and  folk art and the Pincuses both liked my mom and her paintings. Barry helped Alice Moseley to become ALICE MOSELEY and  introduced her to many  of her early local collectors,ie, Yancey Pogue, Carter Church,John and Starr Chapman, Philip Lagrange and Herbie Pursley. Barry  and his friends honored Miss Alice at her official debut and unveiling with a buffet, and a showing of original Moseley works brought by guests from several states. The festivities,at the then, Waveland Resort Inn, ended with an auction of two originals. One of which was purchased by my mom's dear friends, Irwin and Patt Cuculla. Prices reached $2,000.00 for the first time in my mom's art career. The wonder of that night was never forgotten by my mom. George Wellman made a video of the evening and presented it to my mom. It  was a very proud and happy night for her and left very good memories..
